Harmony Series
Performance Meets Design
True Acoustic Performance
The recycled PET felt backing absorbs sound waves, reducing echo and ambient noise. The Harmony Series is designed for spaces where acoustic quality matters — home theaters, studios, offices, open-plan living areas, and other rooms with hard-surface reverberation.
Natural White Oak Finish
Natural White Oak slats provide a refined architectural surface with natural material character. The finish pairs easily with a broad range of interior palettes while maintaining the clean vertical rhythm of the Harmony Series.
Recycled PET Backing
The acoustic backing is made from recycled plastic bottles. The MDF core slats help diffuse and dampen sound waves while the PET felt absorbs sound energy, creating a balanced acoustic system.
Wall or Ceiling Install
Install horizontally or vertically on walls, or overhead on ceilings. Suitable for both adhesive and screw installation, giving contractors and DIY installers flexibility to choose the method that suits the substrate and application.

How the Panel Works
Three Layers, One Result
The Harmony panel is a precisely engineered acoustic assembly. Varnished Natural White Oak slats provide the visible surface and visual diffusion. The MDF core slats diffuse and dampen sound waves internally. The recycled PET felt backing absorbs sound energy that passes through — a balanced combination of absorption and diffusion.
Coverage Planning
Each 24″ wide × 94-1/2″ long panel covers approximately 15.75 sq ft, and each carton contains 1 panel. Divide your total wall or ceiling area by 15.75 and round up to the nearest whole carton. For rooms with strong parallel reflective surfaces, consider covering 25–40% of total surface area for meaningful acoustic improvement.
Installation
Step by Step
Plan Your Layout
Panels align edge to edge — mark your starting line with a level. Decide on orientation: vertical slats for most walls, horizontal for a different rhythm.
Prep the Surface
Wall or ceiling must be clean, dry, and flat. For adhesive installation, drywall and plaster substrates work well. For screw installation, locate framing or use appropriate wall anchors.
Cut to Size
Panels can be cut to length with a fine-tooth saw. Cut from the back face to minimize tear-out on the visible surface. Measure twice before making visible cuts.
Apply Adhesive or Screw
Glue: apply panel adhesive to the PET backing in a serpentine bead pattern. Press firmly and hold as directed by the adhesive manufacturer. Screw: drive screws through the PET backing into framing or appropriate anchors.
Align Panels Edge to Edge
Panels are manufactured to align side by side. Butt edges firmly together with no gap or overlap, and check alignment with a level as installation progresses.
Ceiling Installation
For ceiling installation, use appropriate mechanical fastening and follow the adhesive manufacturer's requirements. Overhead applications should be installed with suitable support and fastening for the substrate.
Installer Advice
Pro Tips
Start with a Level Line
Snap a level reference line before installation and use it throughout the run. Small deviations become increasingly visible across a large slatted surface.
Plan Panel Joints
Where panels meet end to end, plan joint locations carefully so the finished installation reads as a continuous architectural surface.
Coverage for Results
A single accent panel provides visual impact, while larger treated areas provide more meaningful acoustic control. Plan coverage based on room size, reflective surfaces, and desired sound performance.
Care & Maintenance
Dust panels lightly with a soft dry cloth or low-suction vacuum brush attachment. Avoid excessive moisture on the slats. Follow White River Hardwoods recommendations for the specific finish and installation environment.
